Hey smart peeps! Coastal Magic is finally here!

It’s not too late!

For those of you in the Daytona Beach area, but not attending, there will be a charity author signing on Saturday (Feb 8, 2013). See the Coastal Magic website for a list of authors attending.  The signing is free and open to the public.

Chudney, Trina and I are hoping those of you who are attending will find us and introduce yourselves. If you do there might just be something in it for you, like maybe a gift card (while supplies last) or entry into a special drawing to be held after the convention. We would love to meet some blog readers!

Help a blogger out and get a piece of Coastal Magic to call your own!

As part of being a featured blogger I’ll have an opportunity for a 5 min, one on one Q&A with each author attending Coastal Magic. I won’t list them here since there are about 50, but they are listed on the Coastal Magic website.

I’ll also be moderating panels (see below), for which I would love questions, and will have an opportunity to set up longer interviews during the weekend. I need a creative approach to questions since all the bloggers will be doing this. I’m sure the authors would be grateful for some variety in the questions!

This is also an opportunity for you to get your questions answered. Suggest a question and you’ll be entered in a drawing to win a Coastal Magic swag bag (there will be other ways to enter after the conference, but this gives you a second way to enter and enables you to enter twice.

Where’s Charlee?

I’ll be arriving on Thursday and will be at the conference until the very end (dear burglars, that doesn’t mean my house will be empty). To up your chances of finding me swing by one of the panels I’m moderating or

Book Clubs and Blogs – Tips on how to start and manage a successful book club and blog. Speakers: Janice Hardy and Lia Davis.

  1. I so wish I could be a part of this. I will make sure I’m there next year! Have a great time! Question to ask authors: Where is your favorite place to write? Where was the most unusual place you’ve written in?

    • Wish you could be there too! We need more SciFi authors. 😉

      Thanks for the questions! I came away last year with lots of great materials for posts. Hoping to do even better this year.
