Week of 4/13/2016 – Every Wednesday we announce new releases, the week’s bestsellers and a selection of on sale or free SciFi Romance books.   The purpose of this post is to take a look at what’s out there. I have not read all of these and I always recommend sampling before you buy.

This week I reached a bit farther into the future for pre-orders, because some cool books were recently made available. I love having books to look forward to!  I also gave a break to the shorties that I usually leave off the post. I’ve divided them up into Short (under 100 pages) and Really Short (under 50 pages). I also included some re-releases–what once was old is new again, as the saying goes. With several large digital publishers closing the doors, authors will be getting their works back and we will probably be seeing more of these re-releases.

The most surprising thing I noticed this week was that several books from big publishers are tagged SFR, but the tag seem questionable based on descriptions. It seems our little genre-niche that once was the kiss of death with NYC publishers is not so frowned upon these days. Is this a trend or just a mistake? Would love to hear your thoughts!
