Hi everyone!

I am so looking forward to attending Coastal Magic in February! We are going to have such a fun time.

One of the authors that will be joining us is Rebecca Zannetti. I’m sure many of you are already fans of her fun books. And I already told you a bit about here on the 1st.   She kindly took the time to answer a few questions so we can all get to know her a bit better.

Ready?

Here we go…..

Charlee: For those who haven’t read your most recent paranormal romance, can you tell us a little about it?shadowed-ebook

Rebecca: SHADOWED recently released and hit the USA Today Bestselling list the first week. It’s about wounded vampire Jase Kayrs and feisty Brenna Dunne. Here’s a quick blurb:

Danger signs rise off Jase Kayrs like steam—the scars, the secrets, the strength. He’s got a mission, and he’s not interested in much outside of it. Except Brenna Dunne.

Brenna was an ass-kicking, name-taking witch—before the poison that’s killing her sapped her powers too. She knows there’s more to Jase than a handsome face and an ugly history. But there’s no time to find out what. Taking him as her mate might save her life. But once she unleashes the force of his desire, there will be no turning back.

Charlee: Are you working on more paranormal romance? If so when can we expect to see it!

Rebecca: Well, my next Sin Brothers romance, SWEET REVENGE, will release on December 3rd.  It features a superiorly genetically enhanced soldier who is taken aback by a sweet bar tender with secrets.  While it’s billed as a romantic suspense, there are definitely paranormal elements since the hero is enhanced.  Other than that, the next Dark Protector story, TAMED, will release in May.  It’s about Caleb, the vampire rebel, and a sweet yet feisty prophet named Lily.   Fans have met the characters in earlier books.

Charlee: What are you looking forward to most about Coastal Magic?

Rebecca: I always look forward to meeting and getting to know fans.  They’re always so interesting, and it’s a lot of fun to talk about the series and the characters.  Plus, considering I live in the Pacific NW, I’m looking forward to the warmth of Florida in February.

Charlee: Any advice for fans who want to connect with you at the conference?

Rebecca: Come connect!  Authors attend reader conventions with the main purpose of chatting and having some fun with fans, so definitely don’t be shy.  In fact, authors are usually rather shy (we spend a lot of our time alone in our yoga pants making up imaginary people), so definitely approach and say hi.  This is true for book signings, too.  Drop by and talk to an author – you don’t have to buy a book—we know a lot of people are on budgets, and a lot of people read on their e-readers and don’t take print books anymore.  So even if you’re not going to buy a book, still stop by to chat.  We’re always so happy to have somebody to talk to during those events.

Charlee: Are you planning anything special for the conference (swag, parties, etc)?

Rebecca: I will definitely have some swag for the conference, but it’s too early to know what.  I guess I should start thinking about that, considering it’s already October.  I also sponsored a bunch of free drinks for one night at the event, which was a fun thing to do.

Charlee:  Is there any other news you’d like to share with readers?

Rebecca: Just that I’m so excited to see everybody in the very sunny Florida in February!

RAPID FIRE QUESTION ROUND:

rebecca

Star Wars or Star Trek?

Rebecca: Star Trek – give me Kirk (the recent one or the first one) any day of the week.

Coke, Pepsi or other?

Rebecca: Well, I would say diet coke, but I gave it up about six months ago because of the artificial sweeteners.  I missed it a lot for about a month, but now I’m over it.

Salty or sweet?

Rebecca: Can I have both?  Chocolate covered pretzels are my favorite!

Monsters or Space Aliens?

Rebecca: If we’re going scary, monsters.  If we’re going sexy alpha males from another planet looking for mates, then aliens.

Spaceballs or Galaxy Quest?

Rebecca: Ohhhh – good one.  Spaceballs.

Thank you so much for having me over today!!!
