RK: What was the first book you read that left an impression on you?

I don’t think it was any one book. I remember devouring my mother’s stack of Harlequin romances (and soon fell in love with Nora Roberts and Linda Howard) and my father’s action adventure thrillers (Wilbur Smith and Clive Cussler). No surprise my writing is a mash up of the two.

RK: If you could live in an SF/Fantasy franchise universe, what would it be?

The Star Wars universe! I want to be a Jedi.

RK: If you had to choose between being captain of a starship or a time traveler which would you choose and why?

Ooh, starship captain. The idea of travelling at warp speed into adventures on new planets with different species is so exciting. And Captain Hackett has a nice ring to it (-:

RK: Could you tell us a bit about your upcoming project?

I am super excited to be revealing the covers for the third and fourth books in my upcoming alien invasion sci-fi romance series, HELL SQUAD! The covers for books one and two are over at Heather Massey’s blog The Galaxy Express. I have an awesome teaser trailer to show off as well. MARCUS, the first book in HELL SQUAD, will be out in April.
