Our very own Toni Adams will be taking part in a panel at Comikaze this weekend.

She and the other contributors at Fangirl Nation will be doing a panel called “Why fangirls matter.” Go get em Toni!

The panel organizer describes it as “candy, prizes, and a good old time talking about why Ladies in Fandom is kind of a big deal.”

Okay, lets take a step back for those of us who didn’t know about Comikaze. It’s an event that has been around a while now. Partnered with the king of comics, himself–Stan Lee–and the mistress of darkness–Elvira. What a pair! Here is a bit of info from their website.

“Stan Lee’s Comikaze is Los Angeles’ first and only large-scale, multi-media pop culture convention. Held annually at the Los Angeles Convention Center, Comikaze assembles the most exciting and innovative in comics, video games, sci-fi, fantasy, horror and all things pop-culture.”

And what is Fangirl Nation? A cool website run by a bunch of self-proclaimed fangirls. Toni is also a contributor there. I may have mentioned before that Toni rocks. Just one more reason why.
