The Thing about Lists

I love to read. I love books. The smell and feel of print books. The convenience of ebooks. What I really like about books, the lists. Genre’s, Authors, books to read and not to read. It gives me an opportunity to discover new authors and rediscover old ones. They also remind me of those authors I have in my TBR pile.
One of the problems that comes along with life is that there isn’t always time to read. Don’t get me wrong I love my job, I love my family and I love writing but sometimes I just want to read. If you’re anything like me you take every spare moment you can to read, but that means that you tend to read your go to authors when you have free time.
So tonight I combed the list looking for those authors I hadn’t gotten around to reading yet or I’d read but haven’t mentioned yet. We start with; Charlaine Harris. I know. I know. You would think with True Blood being so popular and my best bud loving this series that I would have eaten up those Sookie Stackhouse books but I just haven’t.

Then there’s Jordan Summers, the Dead World series. I was originally caught by her twist on Little Red Riding Hood with Red. I put it on my keeper shelf and I know that I bought the second in the series but I have so many books that I can’t find it right now. Grrr.

Then I fell in love with the cover of Darynda Jones’ First Grave on the Right. So guess what I now own? I’ll be combing the list looking for new reads and will you bring you some new blood next week. Cause, now I’ve got an Idea for a list of my own.
