Gargoyles for the New Year

Happy New Year!

I’m glad to see you guys again. The last few weeks have been about editing and regrouping. I actually got back to reading for pleasure. I discovered that one of my favorite authors Christine Warren has a new book out where  a Gargoyle is the hero.

I’m enjoying it, though I thought I wouldn’t. See, I told you I would read anything if the story was good. And story so far is really good. But the gargoyle as a creature brought me back to my childhood. Get ready I’m about to date myself again. Anyone remember this?

Yep I remember loving this cartoon. Whenever I think of gargoyles my brain goes right back here first and then to that scene in The Beauty and the Beast where the lightening reveals the Beast among  the Gargoyles on the roof.
