I first heard about Revolution this summer when a preview was screened at ComicCon and an internet trailer was released. I love post-apocalyptic settings so I a was eager to check it out…and perfectly happy to find their were no zombies involved. The show focuses on the aftermath. 15 years after our energy-dependent society is suddenly deprived of energy. Everything stops working–even batteries.
The show will debut September 17 and air on NBC on Mondays at 10:00 pm/9:00 pm CT. JJ Abrams was in on the production so I expect the show will have some interesting twists and turns.
The latest news on the show is that there is going to be a special free event in NYC to raise awareness of the show’s energy-conscious theme. The event revolves around alternative transportation and energy. The screening will be entirely powered by 100 bicyclists! Crazy! They are hoping to have some cast members and creators of the show in attendance.
If anyone is in NYC check it out and I’d love to hear what you thought!
For those of us stuck out of bicycle range of NYC, we’ll have to be content with the trailer available here.
Tomorrow we will have a great author interview (I really had fun with this one) so be sure to stop back by.
I’m counting down the days, hours, minutes to show time on 9/17!
What did you think of the season finale of Falling Skies? Normally I want time to slow down a bit, but in this case I can’t wait for 2013. 🙂
You know me — I’m a sucker for GOOD aliens — so I was thrilled (even if they were kind of prune faced). LOL!
I’m really looking forward to this show. How does JJ keep coming up with this stuff??
Wherever it comes from…I just love it!
Hey, that’s a creative promo event. I’m looking forward to checking the show out.
It is a cool tie-in!
