The last few days have fallen victim to my tendency-to-over-commit syndrome, but I have been keeping one eye on what everyone is up to. Since I’ll be away from my broadband for a few more days, I thought I’d share some of the great conversations and news happening at my favorite blogs.
Julia Barrett has been hosting a great conversation on heroes. She uses one of my favorite new movies to make some points and talks a bit about Jamie Frasier. I know some of you are nuts over the man, so you might want to check it out.

Rae Lori has been talking about Science Fiction For Boys, For Girls, For All. On SFR, she says “For me, in the best stories that feature sci-fi and romance, we see the classic commentary of humanity, the socialization of technology and the ideas of the future or otherworld mixed with the character depths, emotion and involvement of a good love story.” Great discussion.
Over at Geeky Girls Love Sci-Fi they are saying “Stake us, stake us now.” Can you guess where they stand on the news about the planned Buffy remake? They also have some interesting posts following the news.

Finally, I’d like to recommend a slightly off topic blog. One of my friends, a beautifully lyrical writer, currently not writing, is blogging on life and the inner workings of the human soul (my words – not hers).
