‘Tis the season…

for getting sick!

I think I’ve been sick this time of year most of my life. Why it came as a big surprise to me when I came down with the chest cold from Mordor last weekend, I do not know. I can remember as a teenager I would have to lip-sink on the caroling trips because I’d always lost my voice by then.  I just surfaced today and thought I’d pop in to say I haven’t dropped into the internet either. In fact, I’ve got some great posts planned and one special par-tay.

I’ve been invited to participate in the SFR Holiday Blitz. Starting Dec 20th some of the SFR friendly blogs are teaming up with some great SFR authors to give away over 50 SFR books. Can I get a WOOT!? This amazing event is organized by The Galaxy Express and I’m psyched to be a part of it.

And to wrap things up, I have to share that I got a very special gift today. My SIS and BIL had a star registered for me. They wisely skipped naming it after me and instead gave it a special name from stories our father told us years ago. The Rarfaroose Star. Very cool!

    Sickness this time of year yes, in our house though it starts around Halloween when the first cool fronts start blowing through and make my husband’s allergies exacerbate his asthma.. This month my Mom, myself and my Husband have all been rotating being sick every other week so will be very happy when winter is over!

      Allergies can be so awful and asthma can be plain scary. Hope you and your family fend off the sick-monster and stay healthy the rest of the winter. Sending you cyber-soup!

    • Thanks, Maria! You know I’m sick when I can’t even read. My TBR pile doesn’t understand why I was home from work but didn’t give it any attention. LOL! I’m sooo behind on email and blog reading and it is back to work tomorrow. I’m sure I’ll get caught up soon. Nothing like a challenge!
